Who we are
Science & Tech Voices is a student led publication based in Istanbul, Türkiye, reachable at scitechvoices@gmail.com. We are not a registered company, and nothing here is a commercial offer.
Using the site
You may read, link to and share anything we publish. Please do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, and do not use it to do anything unlawful.
Our content
The articles, courses, videos, illustrations and the Science & Tech Voices name belong to us or to the people who made them for us. You are welcome to quote us and to use short extracts in your own work, in class or in a presentation, as long as you say where it came from and link back. Republishing a whole article or a whole course, or using our work commercially, needs our written permission first. Ask, and the answer is usually yes.
Some photographs and diagrams come from third parties and remain theirs. Where that is the case, permission to reuse has to come from them, not from us.
What you send us
If you send us a draft, an idea or a correction, you keep ownership of it. By sending it you give us permission to publish it on this site with your name on it, and to edit it for length and clarity. If we are going to publish something you wrote, we will tell you before we do.
Accuracy
We write about science and technology carefully, and we correct mistakes when we find them or when you point them out. Even so, the site is educational material offered as it is. It is not medical, legal, financial or professional advice, and it should not be the only thing you rely on for a decision that matters. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the site.
Links out
We link to other sites when they are worth reading. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they publish or how they handle your data.
Availability
The site is run by students in their own time. We may change, pause or remove any part of it at any point, and we do not promise it will always be reachable.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top of the page changes with them. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction over any dispute.
